🔗Desk Setup / Hardware
- I'm sitting on a Herman Miller Aero chair
- Desk is a Jean Prouve compas direction
- Monitor is a Dell U3821DW which is mounted with a [FILL IN]
- Apple Magic Keyboard
- Mouse is a Logitech MX Master 2
- Webcam is a Logitech C920
- For sounds I am using a Sony MX4 Headset or an Apple Airpods (3rd Generation)
- I try not to use a phone, but I own an iPhone 13 mini
- I currently use a 2021 14" Macbook Pro M1 Max with 32 GB ram, 500GB drive
🔗Editor/Terminal
- PHPStorm (by Jetbrains) is my editor of choice. It's a full IDE with GIT/Database integrations so I don't have to switch apps.
- I use Material Theme UI plugin set with Darcula dark theme
- For coding font (both in terminal and PHPStorm) I prefer Inconsolata for Powerline set on 18px and a 1.2 line height.
- I use iTerm2 with the Snazzy color scheme
🔗Software
- I'm a big Alfred fan but exploring the switch to Raycast
- BetterTouchTool for a lot of small automations: (hyper key, window management, shortcuts, hotkeys for app)
- Brave Browser set with DuckDuckGo as default search
- Recently switched to UpNote for note taking over Bear
- TweetDeck as I'm trying to use Twitter with lists only. Twitter home is depressing
- Mimestream for email.
🔗Company apps
- We use Linear for Project Management and could not be happier. Super fast, easy interface and offline access
- Discourse for long conversations
- Slack/Zoom
- 1password to store and share company secrets/passwords
- Prezly to blog, update help section or changelog. Wrote about it here
